DESIGN
An intensive summer course to approach fashion design through the Burgo Method.
The program introduces the fundamentals of fashion drawing, coloring, material analysis, and creative project development, providing the essential tools to transform an idea into a structured concept.
PATTERN MAKING & TAILORING
A short program dedicated to pattern construction and tailoring skills, designed for those who want to understand the technical structure of garments and construction techniques.
From paper pattern development to toile fitting and garment construction, the course introduces the Burgo Method for pattern making, with particular focus on proportions, fit, and the relationship between fashion illustration and pattern.
For professionals already working in the industry, it is possible to choose advanced pattern making and specialized tailoring programs, including: lingerie and swimwear, theatrical and film costumes, bridal and formal wear, and childrenswear.
DESIGN + TAILORING
A combined program designed for those who want a complete overview of the creative process, from concept to finished garment.
The course integrates design and tailoring practice, allowing students to understand the dialogue between design, construction, and garment making.
DRAPING
An introductory summer course dedicated to three-dimensional pattern making on the mannequin.
Moulage (draping) allows students to understand volumes, proportions, and garment construction directly in form, offering an immediate vision of the relationship between body, fabric, and design. The program is suitable for those who wish to integrate this technique into their own skillset.
MILLINERY (HAT MAKING)
A short course dedicated to the art of hat making, combining technique, form, and experimentation.
Through hands-on exercises, students explore the fundamentals of millinery: structures, materials, shaping, and finishing, with an approach that values craftsmanship and the balance between function and aesthetics.
EMBROIDERY
A practical summer program focused on the fundamental embroidery techniques applied to fashion.
The course introduces stitches, materials, and decorative methods, with attention to execution precision and the integration of embroidery into both tailoring and creative design projects.
