In 1961, with passion and an innovative spirit, he founded Istituto di Moda Burgo, introducing a unique teaching method that revolutionized fashion education.
His vision materialized in the publication of two fundamental textbooks: “Il Figurino di Moda” and “Modellismo Sartoriale”, true cornerstones of fashion education.
These books, which have sold over 100,000 copies, are now used in fashion schools worldwide, demonstrating the quality and depth of his contribution to the industry.
Over more than 60 years of career, Fernando Burgo has built an international network of 25 fashion schools across Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas. With his innovative method and educational philosophy, he has trained over 100,000 students, many of whom have gone on to achieve success and become key figures in the global fashion scene.
