His long and thriving experience in the area of fashion has proven to be successfully. His commitment to share in his knowledge with each and every student interested in fashion is the result of 50 years of experience in the fashion industry. In 2004 Istituto di Moda Burgo in cooperation with the Missoni fashion company took part to a fashion show. During an important event in Milan, the director of the prestigious fashion school Fernando Burgo met Giancarlo Mazzucca, who personally gave him a certificate of participation\u2026 <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-3108\" src=\"https:\/\/www.imb.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/ambrogino1-300x240.jpg\" alt=\"Ambrogino Oro Burgo\" width=\"300\" height=\"240\"><\/p>\n<p>The municipality of Milan has decided to hand over the <strong>Ambrogino d\u2019Oro 2014 (Civic Merit)<\/strong> to the Director <strong>Fernando Burgo<\/strong>, founder of the first Istituto di Moda Burgo in Milan in 1961. Fernando Burgo is also author of the first and most popular manuals of fashion design, pattern making and tailoring: Il Figurino di Moda and Il Modellismo Sartoriale. This is a great event for the school staff and also for people who\u2019s working in this field because they can discover new talented designers. Moreover the institute takes part to other events with the most important fashion organizations, institutional organs and fashion companies. <\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">IMB fashion books<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Since the beginning of its activity, the Istituto di Moda Burgo tried to give its students suitable instruments, such as books, duplicated lecture notes, curves, squares, in order to teach the fashion system. The experience reached through several books\u2019 editions culminated in the realization of two books which the experts of fashion consider the milestones of the fashion teaching methods. They are \u201c<strong>Il Modellismo<\/strong>\u201d (last edition 2018) and \u201c<strong>Il Figurino<\/strong>\u201d (last edition 2019). We give them contacts of the new upcoming Fashion Designers.Also, we offer fashion advice to companies, such as the planning of a fashion portfolio either women\u2019s wear, menswear or children\u2019s wear, pattern books, trends, restyling.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Schools and Universities<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Setting up courses and branches worldwide. The recent successes came from <strong>Turkey<\/strong> (2013),<strong> Estonia<\/strong> (2013) and <strong>Indonesia<\/strong> (2012). We have been working for many years in: <strong>Egypt<\/strong>, with the decision of the Egyptian Ministry of Technology, after a selection of 200 Italian fashion schools, to give the management of the Fashion Design Center (FDC) and its fashion style office to <strong>Istituto di Moda Burgo<\/strong>.
